The Quokka Menu

Each week, you'll receive meals from a rotating and evolving menu of recipes by Chef Julian Martinez, executive chef of Santa Barbara's Barbareño restaurant. All meals come ready-to-eat, with individually tailored portions to support your nutrition plan.

So I don't choose which meals I want from a set menu each week?

That's right! You select the number of meals you want, and a fresh set of meals is delivered to you twice a week. Your personal food restrictions and allergies, as well as your likes and dislikes, are taken into account when determining which meals you'll receive.

 

Additionally, you'll be able to provide feedback on meals that you love and meals that you don't, so our meal selection system learns over time and gives you more of what you love.

Breakfast Parfait

Home-made muesli with protein-rich greek yogurt, fresh berries, and spiced pecans.

Variations available:

Dairy-free, gluten-free

Quokka Bowl

Quinoa, slow-roasted market vegetables, citrus-marinated organic chicken breast, and spiced garbanzos. Served with coconut green goddess dressing.

Variations available:

Chicken, vegetarian, plant-based meat alternative, gluten-free

Overnight Oats

Rolled oats steeped overnight in protein-fortified coconut beverage. Served with fresh berries, chia seeds, and cashews.

Spicy Basil Chicken

Seasoned organic chicken breast stir-fried with fresh garlic, hot chilis, and bell peppers. Served with brown rice.

Chicken, tofu, gluten-free

Beet and Goat Cheese Salad

Local mixed greens with roasted beets, goat cheese, fresh herbs, farro, and citrus. Served with white balsamic avocado dressing, marniated chicken breast, and sourdough.

Quokka Bulgogi Bowl

Korean barbecue-style flank steak with kimchi, brown rice, sprouts, chili paste, and toasted sesame seeds.

Plant-Based Variations

For vegetarians and members looking to reduce their meat consumption, Quokka offers a complete selection of plant-based meals. Quokka members can specify their nutritional preferences during sign-up, and receive meals that align with those preferences each week.

Where we Source our Ingredients

Quokka recipes are built around seasonal, micronutrient-rich produce, with ingredients sourced from local farms, bakers, and suppliers. By becoming a Quokka member, you'll be supporting the farmers, butchers, bakers and suppliers in your area.
