A serial entrepreneur, Julian has been working in the restaurant/food industry since 2007. As a chef, Julian co-founded Michelin-recognized Barbareño restaurant in Santa Barbara in 2014. Since then, he has helped open Cubaneo Restaurant, Barb's Pies, Bank of Italy Cocktail Trust, and Companio Hospitality Management. Julian is also a competitive CrossFit athlete, qualifying for CrossFit's West Regionals in 2017.
Serving as the executive chef for Quokka allows Julian to seamlessly combine his knowledge of kitchen operations and menu development with his passion for fitness and nutrition.
In his free time, Julian likes to paint furry animals.
